As a kindergarten teacher, I am responsible for my students' first formal education experience, and my role often stretches beyond just being a teacher. I teach students from all over the world, many who have just come to this country with different experiences and background knowledge. Most of my students have never been to school before or been away from their parents for long periods of time, and so it becomes my priority to make my students feel safe and comfortable when entering my classroom. Every day with my students is fun, adventure and filled with surprises. I am dedicated to bringing out the best in all of my students. I believe that what I do as a kindergarten teacher can affect my students' education for many years to come. I try my best to model good behaviors and instill in my students, patience, fairness and determination. Any donation will surely help on their journey to becoming lifelong learners.
