The goal of this project is to provide hands on learning tools for the students in my classroom and a place to store the items. These manipulatives will provide hands-on learning opportunities for my students to learn their letters and numbers. Students will use the objects to learn place value, counting, letters and how to spell words. These manipulatives will also help build fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. The paints and ink pads will provide multisensory activities to help reinforce the recognition of letters and numbers. The books will provide hands-on opportunities for students to read in both English and Spanish. This will help build the foundation for every child to be able to read and write.
