As fifth grade teachers, we supply our students with colorful maps, math and science activities that help them understand the world around them and the rich history of our country. They must know the 50 states and capitals by the end of the year. These copies are made in teachers' homes with our personal printers. The projects the students complete in class and at home have wonderful color pictures that we must print in black and white on copiers. Our campus teachers do not have access to a color printer. This printer will allow teachers and students access to images that are clear and colorful. Students will enjoy creating wonderful posters to hang around the classroom and campus to share what they have learned with their peers.
