I teach at an urban elementary school in Philadelphia, Pa. We serve grades K-8. Our school is located in a high poverty neighborhood with ALL of our students receiving free breakfast and lunch. This is the first year EVER that there will be an Art Room and an Art Teacher at the school!! Right now I am working on building an Art program at the school while also working to build an amazing Art Room from scratch! The possibilities are endless and I am so excited! However, we still need so many materials and resources to make the Art Room all that it can be.
