My students are passionate and enthusiastic learners! The materials in this Culturally Responsive Library will ensure that my students continue to develop their literacy skills in their primary language while acquiring English as a second language. It is imperative that my students continue to find success in reading by engaging with culturally relevant books during this transitional stage. With this new library, my students will find relatable stories which will entice them to engage in reading and continue to develop their love of storytelling. The selected materials include fiction and non-fiction texts in a range of reading levels to ensure that all of my students find books perfectly tailored to them.
