I'm sure this has been said and heard time and time again, but my students are "my kids." Each year is a special and unique group, but they always have one thing in common. My students need to feel loved and important. Sure, math and reading are essential, but my biggest job is to make sure my kiddos are confident and kind leaders. My kiddos come from great families, but families that work and work just to make ends meet. The majority of my students have a life where they "get what they need" and rarely "what they want." With that being said, if you were able to look in my classroom, you are going to see fresh smiles every morning. You will see kiddos that love life and are eager to learn...unless it is Monday morning writing, AHHH. Only kidding, kinda. Just know, if you choose us, you are supporting a beyond wonderful group of 4th graders.
