Our students are a determined bunch who are asked to give their best each day. Each day can be a challenge when you have to set aside your circumstances in order to focus and give it your all, especially when you're in fourth grade! Over 80% of the students qualify for free lunch with many families homeless, and or doubled up with other families. We try to fill basic needs by sending home food bags with those students who need it. With all of these obstacles, our students still come to school with bright smiles ready to give it their all! My dream is to make it a little easier for my students set their worries aside and focus on school. I want to create an environment that is comforting and safe. The academic progress our students make can change the course of their lives! It is my job to give them the best chance possible to make their dreams come true through an effective and meaningful education.
