Our students LOVE music and LOVE to SING! However, due to starting our school year entirely online, singing together is not going to be possible. By providing a ukulele to students who cannot afford their own, I know that they will be inspired to learn and sing along at home, boosting their self-esteem and encouraging families to come together for music making. Providing our middle school Choir students with a ukulele will help them learn how to read & play music, but more importantly, give them a POSITIVE experience that supports their emotional well-being. Once we are physically back in class we will be able to play and sing JOYFULLY TOGETHER! Giving the gift of music has life-long impact. Thank you for considering donating to our project.
