My students are from a low income school in which 97% of the school qualifies for the free or reduce lunch program. They are a bright group of individuals that are always seeking to learn more. For some of my students school is a refuge from parental neglect or violence that they see and hear from their gang infiltrated neighborhood. There are small and very talkative group of students. I don't think I've ever had a group of students that were so social and love to do hands on projects. They are a group of individuals that are always wiling to learn but in order for them to learn they like to work with items that are very hands on. Not only are they hands on but they are also very social they enjoy working with one another and assisting each other when it comes to classwork.
