The students will use these books to study for the tests and skill-based competitions at the HOSA-Future Health Professionals Connecticut State Conference. If the students place 3rd or higher, they will get the opportunity to compete at the International conference in June this year. Using these books will not only help them compete, but it will also help them begin their healthcare career education early getting them more prepared for college-level learning. My students are choosing to compete in events that match what they intend to major in and this will hopefully help them to get a head-start in the right direction while also assisting them with realization of their career goals.
