As a first year bilingual teacher, it will be essential to have a classroom that has all the materials that enhances the interest and ability of learners. The materials I am asking for will help the bilingual students acquire English as a second language. These hands-on resources will serve as a bridge to developing language. Using picture cards with English Language Learners can be enormously effective in helping them learn. Vocabulary development photo cards, Realia, positional words resources, are a few of the materials for the classroom. By providing these resources, my English Learners will have multiple opportunities to acquire vocabulary, create meaningful writing pieces, and collaborate with others. These resources will change my students’ lives for the better by instilling the passion of learning and support the academic challenges that lay ahead.
