My students come from very diverse backgrounds. About half of my students are first or second generation immigrants from all over the world: India, Nepal, Russia, Brazil, Haiti, El Salvador, Bangladesh, Peru, Portugal, the Philippines and Vietnam. Our district, like many, is facing budget cuts. My students are great kids, and I feel very fortunate to be their teacher. I would like to be able to give them the world, and with this donation, I'll be able to give them a little part of it.
