Drawing boards with handles and clips will allow my students to engage in direct observational drawing experiences outside the classroom. Drawing during field trips to museums, walks outside and at-home projects will all be supported with a drawing surface that they can take wherever they want. With growing emphasis on digital art-making software, there is no replacement for the eye-hand coordination that direct observational drawing requires. 30 heavy-duty 24" x 26" drawing boards with handles and clips from Nasco will allow all students, regardless of whether they choose to pursue a Fine Arts college path, will benefit from this "analog" experience.
