Since this is the first year of this project, we are starting from scratch. We are going to use all of the materials purchased to create a sustainable program. Costume materials will be reused for future performances. Items that can be stored in our Performing Arts Center at the High School will be shared with the entire district. Provided materials will help our students to fully engage in the experience of performing in a musical. Aside from performing, some students will have the opportunity to use the materials to create backdrops for the set. We are one of six schools in Michigan to receive a grant from Disney to bring this opportunity to our students. As a result of this, Disney has generously agreed to match $1,000 of our raised funds to cover the cost of materials. Our performance on Thursday, March 28th will be a success thanks to our many donors!
