General music students in the school where I teach have one semester of music class in fifth grade. This is the last year for my students to have a mandatory music subject material class. I teach every fifth grade student in the district, so I teach approximately 250-300 music students every year. In addition to music classes, this classroom is also used for small chorus groups, summer band lessons and sometimes theater rehearsal sessions.
