My class has 23 students who are extremely hard working. Most truly come to school as a safe place, a place to feel loved. "Student who are loved at home, come to school to learn, and students who aren't, come to school to be loved." -Nicholas A. Ferroni. Some of their parents do not have time or resources to be able to read with their child at home. Many have little technology at home, as basic survival is more important than a luxury. All students in my school receive free breakfast and lunch. This is an open concept school that they added walls to, however one wall stays open, which means we have no classroom door. We have 3 working computers in our classroom at this time.
