As teachers, we always try to find the simplest way to manage materials for our students. The beginning of kindergarten can be overwhelming for a child, and it's our job to help them feel confident and succeed. Providing a book chair buddy for each child will give each child their own space to store their take home folders, pencils, scissors, and any other supplies we decide they need. It will free up space at the students' tables as well as space for teacher materials in the room. After years of trying different strategies to organize materials in kindergarten, we would like to try something new. This project will allow us to provide a book chair buddy for every student in kindergarten. That's all three rooms - approximately 60 students or more!
