My students live in a high poverty area that does not employ an art teacher. Therefore, I have to find time in my classroom to enrich the minds of my students using the materials that I have available. My students are wonderful, curious little humans who love to create. Even though they are in fourth grade, they need an outlet to have hands-on projects that allow them to express themselves and show others what great people they are in and out of the classroom.
