Our school is located in an urban center in Southern California. We are a Title 1 (Socio-Economically Disadvantaged) school, and a majority of our students participate in the free lunch program. We have a very nice, tight-knit community with parent and neighborhood involvement. I have 31 energetic 5th graders who are eager to learn, especially if it involves technology. Math is just about all of my students' favorite subject.
