The Chromebooks purchased for my project will be used by my second grade students in a small group setting to help me differentiate their instruction in the areas of reading, writing, and math. I will be able to give students reading, writing, and math assignments using Google classroom. Students will also learn valuable keyboarding and computer skills by using the Chromebooks in our daily lessons. The use of Chromebooks gets the students excited about learning and prepares them for the future by teaching them valuable technological skills. I will be able to conference with small groups of students during their writing assignments in order to give them immediate feedback. Using Chromebooks in my second grade classroom will better prepare my students for the upper elementary grades and middle school. Technology is an essential part of my students' futures, so students need more access to it in order to be successful in their everyday lives.
