By contributing to this project, you will be increasing the access my students have to a variety of books on a daily basis and that will help to instill a love of reading. It is recommended that a classroom library contain about 1,000 books at a variety of levels to keep readers engaged and reading at their independent level. Having good fiction books available that gradually challenge my students and allow them daily exposure to texts of increasing complexity ensures their growth as readers. Thank you for helping me to provide beautiful and high quality books to my young students as they start on the road to reading.
