Every year, I always receive the SWEETEST Kindergarten students from very loving families. Our school is a Title 1 campus that has perfected the idea of a "community". When you walk into our front office, you are automatically greeted with a warm "hello!". We teach the idea that our classroom teachers are not just responsible for our own class, but that all teachers are responsible for each student that walks through our doors everyday. My favorite aspect about our school is that we are not a "cookie cutter" campus. Each student, each teacher, and every classroom looks and feels diverse. This allows teachers and students to believe that there is not one way to learn a certain concept and that maybe being a little "unconventional" is a great thing! Our students arrive with a variety of academic and behavioral needs as well as diverse cultural backgrounds. We embraces each of these differences with open arms.
