My students love to create their own pieces of artwork but we do not have a place where they can create them. This age group expresses and communicates through drawings and paintings. Having the materials (the art easel, the paint and art apron) will not only encourage them to express their creativity but also make them feel like a real artist and be more engaged in their artwork since they will be using an art easel and not just a table. We create at least one art activity per unit so they are able to share at home what they have learned from the lesson.
