Writing is a part of our daily routine in our classroom. Besides utilizing the writing process, my students are learning a great deal about word processing, editing documents, and adding text features. Some of their awesome work includes: research on Puerto Rico, opinion pieces on their favorite cookie, animal research reports, book recommendations, and various personal narratives. Seeing their writing skills improve is amazing, but I also love seeing their confidence grow. The children beam with pride when they've finished a writing assignment and hear their work read aloud, but it's even more motivating when they can have their published work in hand! This HP Laserjet Pro Color Printer and toner will get more of my students' work proudly displayed on refrigerators, bulletin boards, and walls rather than trapped in online storage. These materials will allow students to share their hard work with their families, friends, and school community and motivate them to continue writing about anything and everything. I can already hear them saying, "Look what I did at school today!"
