Because of your support, our classroom now has a 3D printer—and the impact has been extraordinary.\r\n\r\nFrom the very first day, the 3D printer sparked excitement, curiosity, and hands-on inquiry among my students. They've eagerly embraced 3D design, experimenting with shapes, structures, and creative problem-solving. Printing classroom prizes has become a highlight of their week, and the pride they feel when they see their digital designs turn into real objects is incredible.\r\n\r\nThe enthusiasm has grown so much that I even started a 3D Printing Club, where students collaborate on projects, troubleshoot designs, and explore more advanced skills. Their excitement has carried beyond school as well—many parents have reached out asking about buying 3D printers for their homes because their children can't stop talking about what they're learning.\r\n\r\nYour generosity didn't just place a machine in our classroom—it opened doors to creativity, STEM learning, and a new passion for many of my students. Thank you for investing in their future.","fullyFundedDate":1755955757617,"projectUrl":"project/inovative-classroom-desing-for-3rd4th-g/9596004/","projectTitle":"Inovative Classroom Desing For 3rd/4th Grade","teacherDisplayName":"Teacher Mudge","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-3_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/3745544"},{"teacherId":662443,"projectId":9455382,"letterContent":"Thank you kindly for your donation to my project, \"Turning Pages, Growing Hearts.\" The books address issues such as food insecurity, immigration, the importance of voicing our opinion, and standing up for issues we believe in. I'm using the books to introduce various social justice topics and to shape our community outreach projects. \r\n\r\nWe are about to embark on a food drive to support families in our school and broader community. Many families are facing rising costs and food insecurity, and I will use the books to spread awareness about how we can come together as a school community to support our friends and families in a time of need. \r\n\r\nMy hope is that students will develop empathy and learn to value the importance of service to others. This book collection will facilitate important conversations to spark action.","fullyFundedDate":1752840706551,"projectUrl":"project/turning-pages-growing-hearts/9455382/","projectTitle":"Turning Pages, Growing Hearts","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Karol","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp662443_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y455&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1752110366329","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/662443"},{"teacherId":6697029,"projectId":9500419,"letterContent":"When our class received the news that we were getting new art supplies, a bouncy ball seat, and essential items like paper towels and tissue boxes, the room practically lit up. The students were buzzing with excitement, already imagining the colorful projects they'll create and the comfort of the new seating will bring. Knowing we have the basic supplies we need for everyday routines brings such a sense of relief. These additions don't just make our classroom more functional, they make it feel cared for. We're truly grateful, and the joy on the students' faces says it all. We really needed that especially after having to salvage our coveted belongings. \r\n\r\nA fresh start at the beginning of the school year can make everything possible again. New supplies give students a sense of organization and control, helping them to step in with confidence. Crayons, alternative seating (bouncy ball), colorful pens, fidgets and watercolors can spark motivation and creativity. Having the right tools also reduces stress and makes it easier to stay focused and prepared. Altogether, these small but meaningful essentials set the tone for a positive, productive year ahead. \r\n\r\nThank you for your generosity which in turn helped us to replace, rebuild and reset.","fullyFundedDate":1753932393928,"projectUrl":"project/a-fresh-start-rebuilding-an-inclusives/9500419/","projectTitle":"A Fresh Start: Rebuilding an Inclusive/Supportive Second Grade Classroom","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Harris","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6697029_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1657707366821","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/tonesha-harris"},{"teacherId":10009518,"projectId":9300318,"letterContent":"My students have significant learning challenges. Because of their unique learning needs, we structure our learning opportunities to include many whole group followed by small group or individual learning activities throughout the school day with many movement and sensory breaks built into the schedule. The new carpet has worked perfectly as a place to gather for our whole group learning activities and movement breaks as well as a place to relax for sensory breaks.\r\n When the students returned to school this year, they were very excited to see the room all set up with the new carpet. In fact, when other students walk by our classroom, I have heard comments like; \"This room looks cool.\" Or \"I wish I was in this room.\" \r\n In addition to the new carpet the other big item was the mailbox system. We use that to organize our communication folders that go home every day. The students are learning to be more independent by finding their mailbox slot (labeled with name and picture) and putting their folder into it at the start of every day. We have also put our new tabletop adaptive scissors to good use when doing small group and individual learning activities.","fullyFundedDate":1746649800505,"projectUrl":"project/magic-carpet-ride/9300318/","projectTitle":"Magic Carpet Ride","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Kolehmainen","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10009518_orig.jpg?crop=640,640,x0,y93&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746196461011","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10009518"},{"teacherId":5733370,"projectId":8845999,"letterContent":"My k4 students were so excited as the boxes started coming into the classroom. We opened up a few things every day together as a class, on our alphabet rug. The students took turns helping me open the boxes. \r\nThey love to write with the flair pen markers in their journals and in the art area. They are learning to put caps on; write lightly and are excited to copy words from word cards. They love the dry erase markers and practice writing letters, numbers, shapes and words on the journals. \r\nThey absolutely love the magnet robots! Those are a hit! The magnet robots are so good for them practicing shaping. This is a great fine-motor skill. It really helps them when it comes to snapping snaps on their coats.\r\nThe number keys and locks are so much fun and a great way to practice subtitizing skills and number recognition. \r\nThe books are wonderful stories that can be shared in large group, small group and together on the carpet with a friend . \r\nMy very young children learn so much every day and all of the materials really help their learning. \r\nI am so very appreciative for all of the items for my k4 classroom.
