These materials will help me put together a stocking, pricing, and shopping area within my classroom. Along with these items, I will be collecting empty containers, cans, and bottles. My students will be able to use the price gun to learn how to price out items and increase their OT skills and number recognition. Students can shop from a list to gather items, mimicking what would be completed in a grocery or convenience store, including how to navigate a shopping cart. Lastly, my students will use the items and designated shelving to stock items and practice an important skill that may lead to future job opportunities.
