I am currently taking classes to earn my technology endorsement and have been learning many exciting ways to use technology in the classroom. I am requesting four inexpensive digital cameras and memory cards to give my students another way to express their understanding of their world. Most of my students are still learning to write their name and draw simple shapes, but with these cameras, they can show what they know by taking pictures rather than drawing or writing. My students will make their own alphabet book or number book using the pictures they take. They will use the cameras to show their understanding of emotions, changes in the seasons, and their community.
