I have a class of 33 bright and inquisitive second graders. They love to read and write and wonder. Our school is a modest size in a great neighborhood and most of the students walk to school each morning for breakfast before we start our learning day. My students participate in a school day packed with learning: Spelling, Reading Groups, Writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Art, PE, Health and Music. We are lucky that our school follows the Common Core State Standards closely and our staff is full of life-long learners who are constantly striving to find new ways to bring the best teaching to kids.

About my class
