Thank you for considering my young broadcasters! I am Mr. Red. I reported, edited, wrote, and anchored in large and medium-sized media markets for more than 10 years. I gave all that up to teach, and now I'm proud to say I am the program manager of Desert Oasis Broadcasting. At a school where many kids do sports, I give students an alternative way to get invested in school; we build the school's daily TV show, DOTV. I introduced an organizational structure, "hired" the kiddos to serve in certain jobs, and they run the whole program themselves! They are amazing! Sad to say, however, my district is in tough times -- teachers are on a pay freeze, major cuts are being made, and we're having to make due with a bare minimum of support. It breaks my heart every day that I can't supply my students with sufficient equipment to work to their maximum potential. Please help! We need your support!
