Thank you for considering my young broadcasters! I am Mr. Red. I reported, edited, wrote, and anchored in large and medium-sized media markets for more than 10 years. I gave all that up to teach, and now I'm proud to say I am the program manager of Foothill Television. I give my Career Tech Education (CTE) students an opportunity to work for the betterment of our campus and community by building our school's daily news show. I introduced an organizational structure, "hired" the kiddos to serve in certain jobs, and they run the whole program themselves! They are amazing! Sad to say, however, my district is consistently ranked as one of the worst in the nation, and my kids have to make due with a bare minimum of support. It breaks my heart every day that I can't supply my students with sufficient equipment to work to their maximum potential. Please help! We need your support!
