My current document camera is old in terms of its quality (low-definition) and its condition (it is being held together by duct tape). This document camera will help students have access to higher-quality demonstrations of drawings during class that they can see in real-time to help them refine their creative skills. Those demonstrations are also recorded and uploaded to our online classroom so students can review them again later at home if they need a refresher, or if they need to catch up from an absence. Playing pre-recorded demonstrations also frees me up to monitor the class to give students the one-on-one assistance from which they benefit most.
