All of the supplies I have listed are essential and basic supplies that students use throughout the year. We use expo markers and glue sticks on a daily basis, and items such as colored pencils, construction paper, and facial tissue are essential to any classroom. Unfortunately, 95% of our student body is socioeconomically disadvantaged, so asking families to purchase large quantities of supplies (often times for more than one child) can be very challenging, and we as teachers often spend our own money to ensure that no student gets left out. Equity is a big part of the culture of our campus and your contribution can help us close the gap a bit!
