Our school houses 6 magnet programs that provide exposure for students that would not have those opportunities at their home school. My students represent a wide variety of ethnic, cultural and economic backgrounds. We have over 35 nations represented and more than 10 languages can be heard in our hallways. This international melting pot makes our school a great place to work and learn. A drawback to our diversity is that we have students that represent many social-economic groups. Due to the nature of our programs we draw from many poor communities. We are a Title 1 school and we focus all our resources on providing necessary supplies for our students. Despite those additional resources provided by the federal government we stall fall short.
