Our athletic training facility does not receive funding for student growth or development. This means we are unable to streamline our healthcare experiences for our students. With the growing changes in healthcare, Electronic Medical Records are becoming a legal requirement. This means that in order to better prepare students for the future in a healthcare career, they must master the use of an Electronic Medical Record. With the use of the iPad, I will be able to better prepare my students to use​ an Electronic Medical Record, while working face to face with patients, through documentation, evaluation, and treatment logs. This will allow the students the background experience to place on their resumes when applying for job positions prior to, during, or after college.
