Welcome to my page! My name is Nick Costa, and I'm a Class Instrumental Music Teacher (CIMT) for the School District of Philadelphia. As I enter my 9th year with the District, I'm currently located at 4 different schools - 3 High-Schools (9-12th grade) and 1 Elementary School (K-8th grade). I teach around 150+ students a week in group Percussion/Drum Lessons, and Music Production. Ensembles include Bucket Drumming, Concert Band, DrumLine, and Modern/Show Band (think Wedding/Cover Band). Besides teaching for the School District of Philadelphia, I'm also the Percussion Coordinator at Villanova University, and a Senior Lecturer at the University of the Arts. On my free time I play throughout the Greater Philadelphia area as an Independent Drummer.
