I have requested sports equipment such as: soccer balls, basketballs, scorebooks, a volleyball net, and traffic cones These materials and equipment will make a difference in student learning because the students in this population come from a very poverty-stricken rural area where they have always used broken or very old equipment. For most students, sports are their way to stay out of trouble, and my goal is to provide my athletes with the best so that it motivates them to strive to become better. All these athletes always perform to their best, and because they have always done that, I want to reward them with new equipment. As the Athletic Director at this site, I feel that students would greatly appreciate and be motivated by the new equipment.
