I am requesting 6 Kore Wobble stools for my students to use throughout the classroom. Gently rounded ergonomic base allows you to move and flex without leaving your seat. This movement provides both physical and mental benefits to the students. While the students are moving, they are more focused on their work. Students can sway and wiggle while sitting in these stools and not disrupt the other students. Studies show that children, especially those with attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder, tend to move around more when they are using working memory to solve problems. The upshot is that fidgety behavior in children may look like distraction but can actually facilitate the learning process by helping them maintain focus. A colleague of mine has similar seating options in her classroom. I'm amazed watching how movement facilitates her students to be more focused and on task! My goal is to have alternative seating and desk to meet the needs of every child in my classroom. Children are more active today and learn different. Please help me support today's active learners! Thank you!
