Because of your generosity, my students have been able to experience both new opportunities for learning in the classroom and to experience brand new playground equipment for play outside at recess. These materials are not only being used EVERY single day, but they have already had a visible and positive impact on the lives of my students and I can only see the impact grow as the days continue.\r\n\r\nOne of the most exciting parts of this project was the addition of brand new recess balls. Last year, the playground balls we had for students were worn out, deflated, and generally in poor condition from years of heavy use and being passed down. This meant students often became frustrated when balls did not bounce correctly or when there were not enough to share among everyone who wanted to play. Thanks to this project and your generosity, my students now have a variety of fresh, high-quality recess balls to use every day. The difference has been incredible—students can now join in games without worrying about broken or unusable equipment, and the excitement they showed when we first brought the new balls outside was contagious. Every recess since then, students have been eager to use them, and they are consistently played with by groups of children throughout the playground. These materials have encouraged teamwork, social interaction, and physical activity, which are all so important for young learners.\r\n\r\nIn addition to recess equipment, this project also brought flexible seating into our classroom. The addition of rocker seats and cushions has given students the chance to work in a way that best supports their learning. For many students, sitting at a desk for extended periods can feel uncomfortable or intimidating, but now they have options to sit on the floor with a cushion or gently rock while they focus on their assignments. I see students eagerly choosing these seating options each day whether to do their work or to relax at the end of the day, or even while reading quietly. The cushions and rocker seats have allowed my classroom to become more student-centered, offering choice and comfort that help students stay engaged and motivated.\r\n\r\nSome of my students had never experienced this kind of flexible seating before, so being able to offer them this opportunity has been truly special. Their gratitude has been evident in the way they talk about and care for the new materials. I have heard students say how much more they can concentrate better, and even how much fun it is to have new ways to learn in our classroom space. Just as the recess balls transformed playtime, the rocker seats and cushions have transformed work time, making the classroom feel more welcoming, flexible, and responsive to student needs.\r\n\r\nIt is not an exaggeration to say that your support has provided resources that my students use every single day. The impact is not temporary—it is lasting. These materials will last for years to come!
