My students come from a variety of backgrounds and levels of hope. Many students often talk to me about what they'd like to do or be with a "but I can't..." in their sentences. I want students to experience college, come back to our school, and raise the community together. Our school has a college application week every year, with 90% of our seniors applying to college, but too many don't graduate high school. My students need more hope to keep them motivated!
