These resources will assist the special education population in our school by providing line readers, raised line paper, pencil grips (occupational therapy tools), thera-bands, fidget tools, and noise buffer headphones (for students with ADHD) that are all necessary, but not provided by the district, to assist students access the curriculum. Providing my students with a classroom that promotes diversity and inclusivity when learning will allow them to thrive both academically and socially. In addition to curriculum assistance, the teen conversation games that are included in this project discuss anger management skills and choice making reflections that will assist with teaching students alternative ways of coping with challenges in and out of the classroom.
