Eliot Arts Drama is a creative and collaborative space where students explore storytelling, performance, and technical theater. As part of a Title I performing arts magnet school, the drama program helps students build confidence, communication skills, and empathy through theater. Students participate in acting, improvisation, movement, playwriting, puppetry, process drama, while learning the importance of ensemble and teamwork. They also explore behind-the-scenes roles such as stage management, set and costume design, and technical production, discovering that theater is a true collaboration. For many students, the drama classroom is more than a class—it is a supportive and safe environment where they can express themselves, take creative risks, and feel a strong sense of belonging in the Eliot Arts community.
