Being from Hawaii, my students come from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures. Our school is located in a suburban area and my students come to school with a wide range of experiences from outside our classroom walls. My students are eager to learn, curious about the world around them, and are most of all, good hearted kids who hope to make the world a better place. They are a wonderful group of kids with a wide range of needs but who show up each day ready to increase their understanding of the world around them in as many ways as possible.
