Hi! My name is Ms. Katie and I'm a Mental Health Specialist. 1 in 6 youth experience a mental health disorder and unfortunately only 40% of those kids will graduate high school. I provide classroom presentations, "Wellness Wednesday" events, home visits, crisis support, and counseling for Students struggling with issues including depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, substance use, and eating disorders. Being a supportive adult on campus makes all of the difference because every child is one caring adult away from being a success story. I absolutely love my job and feel honored to be in a position to make a positive impact on the next generation. Through Donors Choose, I have had the privilege of stocking my office full of social emotional materials for increased mental health and wellbeing. Thank you so much for believing in me like I believing in my students. Your contribution is making the world a better place.
