In my classroom students use devices throughout the day to support their learning. I am fortunate enough to work at a site that supports students' technology growth through the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program. With this program I am able to teach the students not only basic computer skills such as typing and research skills, but also essential communication skills to help them understand the positive digital impact each student can make. Unfortunately not all families are able to provide their students with a device, which is where you can make an impact! My hope is to have a number of devices in my classroom to support those that may not be able to provide one themselves. Every student in my classroom makes an impact and deserves the same opportunities to learn and these Chromebooks will provide that.
