I teach a rambunctious, high-spirited and inquisitive group of 14 kindergarteners in a rural town. My students come to school each day motivated to learn and eager to engage in new experiences. For many of my students school is a place where they are able to step outside of their comfort zone, explore the world around them and experience new learning opportunities. Though I may not be able to control what goes on in their lives outside of school, I want to set them up for success and instill the notion that they are all capable of great achievements.

About my class
