My students are wonderful kids who are energetic and extremely vocal about their lives and opinions. Most of these kids aren't actively engaged in their own schooling. These kids need constant support and motivation to get them to reach the smallest tasks and some may not be given the support at home to do all of the things they want to accomplish. Myself and other teachers in the building provide them with this compassion and support to succeed. Some of these kids have been through a lot in their lives already. I have many students from various cultural backgrounds and some that are quite new to this country. I have students of all ability levels and many that share common interests such as video games, movies, music and many other genres of the digital age. I seek to involve my students interests in all of my daily lesson plans to help keep them engaged in interested in their own learning.
