My students are generally from lower-middle class to lower class working families. Many of my students have very little to help make them successful in school. A vast majority of my students do not have access to technology, and most don't even have books. They are children with a thirst to learn, and I want to provide as many opportunities as possible. Our elementary school is very new and is starting our fifth year, but our focus to get these wonderful students ready for their future has not changed. As a new teacher, venturing into my second year as an educator I am looking to afford every possible avenue to create a modern, functional place of learning for students who are ready for higher academics and careers where technology will play a huge role in their success.
