There are so many wonderful programs that help enhance student learning. Many of these have sound. Students would be very distracted if the whole class had sound playing at once. Muting the sound limits access especially for language learners. The headphones are such a critical part of student success. \r\nStudents begin taking state testing in 3rd grade. In 2nd grade we take on a critical role in building computer skills to help students get ready. The Chromebooks only have track pads which are very difficult for students to use. The mice help students build these skills and avoid frustration. \r\nKeeping the mice, headphones, and login cards organized and safe while not in use is one way that I can get a few years usage out of the materials.
