"The future of the world is in my classroom today." I teach 5th grade math, science, social studies and ELA at a small town school. The students are capable and challenged each day in multiple ways. In my classroom, each student is pushed to realize his or her strengths and ways to grow each day. The students do live in a low income area and many face problems bigger than themselves each day, however, I hope that everyday, at least one student goes home having learned something new, whether it is educational, social or emotional and most importantly feels loved.
