In a growing military community, our school is surrounded by many homes and businesses. Families may move in and out frequently due to our close proximity to an Air Force base. My classroom is full of 24 creative, enthusiastic, and caring 5 and 6-year-olds. Each day they enter the classroom excited and eager for what the day has in store for them. We strive to build a compassionate and engaging classroom community through morning meeting, group lessons, individual or partner centers, and imaginative play activities.
