We want our mindful classroom to feel like a home away from home. At Waikiki School we are one big 'ohana-welcoming every student and family with open arms. I want my students to feel comfortable and at ease when they come into our classroom, a place where they can feel safe and truly blossom. When learning, researching, or collaborating I want students to have the freedom to work where they feel most comfortable whether it be a nice comfy bean bag chair or bouncing on a ball! Mahalo nui loa for helping us to reach our goal of creating a safe/comfortable place for all students!
